How it works
Rapid Metal Coatings are made with atomized metal particles trapped in a composite matrix. Acrylics protect the metal particles from corrosion and ensure bonding to most surfaces. Rapid Metal can be painted on with a brush, or sprayed on with a paint gun.
Start with a 3D Printed model in PLA or ABS plastic.
Paint it with a single coat of Rapid Metal - Copper
A single coat of Rapid Metal - Copper
Apply a blue green patina to simulate aging (optional)
Rapid Metal is available in pure metals like copper, iron, aluminum, as well as alloys like brass and bronze.
